What is a (good) link?
A link is a voice from another website to sell. Have someone say, ‘Hey, this content is pretty good. “Ranking is ultimately a popularity contest, so good, the more people you tell, are quite good, better, right?
Well, no, a link is a voice and not all links (votes) are created equal. A link to the sale of an independent website, or from a website, somehow, the involvement in unethical activities, it is not worth much. You could ask your friend a link to your site, but if he sells Gear Online and you’re an accountant, then Google will have a hard time establishing relevance.
Ideally, all links are relevant and reliable sites. This is the most positive impact on your Google rankings. So try and get links from people in your industry or field.
An often forgotten part of Link Building is the “company you keep.” If you try a number of links from one site should also ask yourself, “I’m in good company on this website?” When all the other links on the website goes to poor sites, you are “poor” by association.
How many inbound links?
How much should I try and get links to my website, is a question many people ask.
The number of secondary links, the quality of the links you get. But give a kind of benchmark, I would say you should try and aim for 250-750 unique links. (Unique means that a URL contains only once)
Do not forget your links too fast to build. Google will give you a call.
